ADMIN:

I am doing a MEET THE MAKER interview…or rather I am being interviewed by Sarah of SEK Handmade next week. You can join both of us over on her youtube channel on Tuesday, March 8th at 1pm EST for some fun maker chat. Come hang out and get to know me, and probably BOTH of us, a little bit better! If you want to be sure not to miss it, you can set a reminder HERE. (But the video will also be available after the fact, in you can’t catch the live!)

What I’m Wearing:

I have on my Forgotten Lore Shawl, which is definitely one of my most popular- and unique- patterns to date. You can find out more about it HERE.

Also wearing a “CROCHET AT HOME MOM” sweatshirt by Kelsie of Crafting for Weeks.

WIPs:

Socks. All I have to show for myself is more socks. I am working up a pair of *basically* Blueberry Waffle Socks by Sandy Turner in some scrappy yarn bits. The main color is Paton’s Kroy Clover Colors (affiliate link), and I used West Yorkshire Spinners Signature 4-ply in the color “Cardamom” held double with a gray nameless single plied mill end that I got when I visited Green Mountain Spinnery (you can watch the mill tour here!)

And the Easter/Spring dress/top/skirt project. I have aspirations of creating some new pieces for my daughter’s spring wardrobe, but am TOTALLY winging it. It’s all a little hypothetical at this point, but I am working it up in Lion Brand Nuboo yarn (in the colors Peach* and Salmon*). Stay tuned for updates on how this adventure of a project turns out!

Aquirings:

I did a bit of a gray haul a few weeks ago at the twice annual Village Wool Bag sale! (You can watch my tour of the shop and interview with owner Marion from last summer HERE!). Planning on making some summer tops with my cotton Shibui, and hopefully a beanie for my husband with the Variations DK.

That’s all the everything for this episode – see you in episode 48!
