Spring is finally starting to feel like spring around here and I am READY for it! I know most of us don’t have anywhere to go right now and no reason to dress up (#coronapocalypse…), but I like to think we have lots of reason to bulk up our handmade wardrobes so when we finally can be out flaunting them we will have plenty of options in our closet to choose from!

I am all about the boho layering pieces and my latest pattern definitely fits that bill!

Please welcome the FANDECO VEST!

With an unique stitch motif inspired by Art Deco architecture (fan+ art deco= fandeco…get it?), and beautiful finishing details, like an applied ribbing and twisted tassels, the Fandeco is sure to make a statement! The Fandeco Vest is the perfect layering accessory-Spring, Fall, or even a Summer Beach Cover-up!! With easily adaptable length and a range of sizes you’ll be able to customize your Fandeco Vest to fit your exact style preferences!

The Fandeco Vest is available in my Ravelry and Etsy shops.

Wanna hear all about the vest? I’ve got, as usual, a pattern drop video with all the delicious details!

Now, let me tell you what you need to know about this beauty:

She’s worsted weight and all lacy, so you’ll be able to make one relatively quick! The sizing options run from XS (30″) up to 4XL (60.5″), and you are able to customize the vest to the length you’d like as well! For more information as far as measurements, yarns, and yardage please see the Ravelry or Etsy pattern listings.

What else…She’s got a nifty little crochet rib edging and charming lil rounded corners at the bottom. And the best part? The only seaming you have to do is just a few inches on top of your shoulders! The main body of the vest is all one piece!

With the purchase of the pattern you will not only get a lovely printable PDF to work from (full of lots of helpful photos!) but you will also get access to a private video walking your through every stitch of my Fandeco Stitch motif! And the Fandeco has been fully tested and tech edited so the pattern should be real smooth sailing for you- and I’m always here to help too!

Speaking of testing, check out these incredible testers of mine rocking their Fandecos! (You can check out the project pages on Ravelry for more info on their sizing, yarn choices and any modifications they might have made to the pattern.)

1st & last: @onerulebejeweled (cause she made TWO!??) and then my cute lil sis in the middle with the one I made her for her bday!

If those don’t get you inspired then… I can’t help you. Tester photos are so magical cause I get to watch my design come alive in someone else’s hands! I love seeing how they style them and what colors they choose!

If you make a Fandeco don’t forget to tag me on instagram – @fiber.and.fox– and use #FANDECOVEST so I will be able to give your vest some love too!

I hope you’re going to add a little Fandeco flair to your wardrobe. It’s a piece that will transition between seasons and spice up any outfit! And if you like my fandeco motif, I’ve got a little more fandeco fun (how many alliterations can I sneak in here?!) coming soon! Hint: there will be a cheeky summer weight tee coming up shortly! (you can find the pattern and everything about the Fandeco TEE here!)

Happy making!
