Anyone else over winter yet? I know it’s not quite spring yet (at least not here in New England!), but now is the time to start getting your handmade spring wardrobe in the works! Here’s a few of my favorite designs that I have either already added to my wardrobe, or am eyeing for this Spring!

Ready to up your springtime slow fashion wardrobe game? Here we go!

the stigandr vest by bella's custom crochets

The Stigandr Vest, by your’s truly, Bella’s Custom Crochets . The loose-fitting, airy vest, with playful fringe and a bohemian feel, is perfect over any spring (or fall, or even as a cover-up at the beach) outfit! With easily adaptable length and a range of sizes you’ll be able to customize your Stigandr Vest to fit you exact style preferences!

the taroko sweater by nomad's stitches

Meet the Taroko by Nomad Stitches, bassssicaaallly a crochet take on the ridiculously popular knit Soldotna! I don’t typically go for a cropped look (just my personal style!), but Sandra killed it with this design! Bonus points for the very inclusive sizing range!!

the forest breeze sweater by for the frills

Simple, and perfect for spring, the Forest Breeze Tee by For the Frills (free on her blog!). I haven’t personally made this one (yet!) but it looks like it would be really simple to modify the length or the sleeves!

the odyessy cardigan by ambassador crochet

I was privileged to be a tester on this one! I love this Odyssey Cardigan from Ambassador Crochet – it’s a great layering piece and would look amazing with an Easter outfit!

the melanie tee by the joy of motion

Hand dyed? Linen stitch? That open tie back? Yessss please. I’m loving this Melanie Tee free on the Joy of Motion blog by Melanie Depcinski. I feel like this one has easter brunch written all over it. You could even layer it with one of these other cardigan suggestions!

the summertime tee by tlyarncrafts

Okay, so I am throwin’ in this Summertime Tee by tlyarncrafts into a spring round up, cause I even wear this cute tunic tee in winter wardrobe layered under cardigans! It’s got beautiful texture and I love the split hem! It’s easy to adjust the neckline width too!

the perfect spring cardigan by megmadewithlove

I haven’t made this particular one yet, but I love me some Megmadewithlove patterns and this Perfect Spring Sweater is well…perfect! It’s free on her blog, sport weight, and just looks like the coziest quick throw on layer!

the manoa cardi by bella's custom crochets

Another me-made recommendation: The Manoa Cardi is my cardigan version of the Stigandr Vest. Same stitch motif, but a tighter gauge and obviously warmer and less flowy! If you haven’t figured it out by now, I LOVE a good layering piece. Or a tunic length piece. Or better yet, a layering tunic piece. They say make the things you wish existed so…her she is! (ps: you only have to seam the shoulders! Yay for minimal seaming!) You can find more inspiration for your Manoa in this pattern drop post!

in the forest of the night cardigan by desamour designs

The Forest of the Night Cardigan by Desamour Designs. As soon as Elisabeth started posting previews of this design last year I knew I needed one. LOOK AT THOSE LEAVES! And I love how the bottom edge follows the shape of the leaf motif rather than being flat. She has a sleeveless version too! Gorgeous! & the sizes small and medium are available free on the Joy of Motion blog as well!

the rosedust sweater by emilia johansson

The Rose Dust Sweater by Emilia Johansson has been in my Ravelry library just waiiitttinng for me to commit to a yarn color! I love the texture, the slouchy fit and just the WHOLE thing! What color do I need?!

coming soon, the fandeco vest by bella's custom crochets

The Fandeco Vest! Another of my patterns – it’s lacey, tunic length, and has all the layering capabilities! (Apparently this is my thing). Worsted weight, but airy and open with a beautiful and unique lace motif (video included). Size inclusive! Awesome tassels. Easy to customize the length! For more about this design, you can check out this pattern drop post!

And if you like my Fandeco Motif, I also have the Fandeco TEE. It’s all business in the front, but a party in the back. The perfect combo of classy and sassy, if you ask me! DK weight, and very quick and simple with just a bit of interest and paying attention going on in the back panel (video tutorial included!) You can find out everything else you need to know about that design in this post!

I hope these beautiful springtime crochet garments have given you some inspiration for crochet pieces you can add to your spring wardrobe! Did I miss any of your favorites? My biggest struggle with roundup posts is always not picking everything! (I’m so blessed to be a part of such a talent community of designers!) I hope this has given you at least one new item you can add to your springtime layers collection!

If you’re looking for some springtime SHAWLS to go with your garments, you can also check out my pattern drop posts the Serenity & Shiloh Shawl, the Forgotten Lore Shawl, The Hope & a Future Wrap, and The Tidal Fades Shawl DK- they are all great, lightweight layering pieces for spring (or even cool summer evenings!)- and you know how I feel about a good layer! Happy making, my friends!
