Could you think of a better way to spend a summer day? We are heading to Granby, Connecticut and stopping at one of my favorite local yarn stores! We’re stopping at Marji’s Yarncraft’s for yarny goodness, Deep Roots Street Food for lunch, Ender’s State Forest for waterfall adventures & Grass Roots Ice Cream Shop to top it all off with sprinkles!!

While this was just a quick day trip, I wanted to mention the I-91 Shop Hop again. It will be taking place across Interstate-91 August 8-20th and there are 9 different yarn shops participating between Connecticut, Massachusetts and Vermont. If you’re local, mark your calendars, and even if you’re not, come along to all the shops with me! Last year I visited each shop, gave a tour and did an interview with the owners- check those videos out here!

During the hop last year I was able to sit down with Marji herself and talk about the history and specialties of her beautiful store (full tour included!). It’s the coolest place- she has a yarn shop *attached* to her house! You can check out that vlog HERE.

Thanks for coming on yarny adventures with me! Catch you in the next one!
