Podcast Episode 54: Show Notes!
Posted on June 24, 2022
All the everything from the Fiber & Fox Podcast Episode 54:
Renovations are underway! Sort of a wild temporary set up, bare with me a few more weeks and we will get things more polished up for you!
Finally, finally getting somewhere on my upcoming addition to my dandelion stitch collection! The Dandelion Disperse Shawl is out with testers! I worked it up in 3 “lucky strike” colorways by Fiber for the People yarn and couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome! Wanna brush up on dandelion stitch? I have a tutorial to get you ready for the upcoming pattern release!
Remember 2020? & Lockdown blankets? Yeahhhh, mine never got finished cause I ran out of steam after several months of joining a hexagon daily. I was following a pattern by Potter and Bloom, making a lockdown blanket along with her, but at some point I …stopped. I decided to finish off what I had and just have a throw!
The 10 year blanket. I started this wip literally a decade ago. Literally. I decided I either needed to finish it or send it out of my house, so here’s to hoping this project is finish, finished soon! SO. MANY. ENDS.
Gotta have more socks! I cast on a pair of Juniper Grove Socks by The Blue Mouse using some remnant cones from a visit to Green Mountain Spinnery again on a quick VT trip (watch a full tour of their amazing mill and process here!!!). Emily also has a new series on sock knitting basics out on her YouTube channel if you’re looking to get started on sock knitting! Need more sock knit basics and getting started inspo? Check out my box of socks videos from 2020 and 2021.
Mohair. I keep acquiring it but I can’t commit to what to do with it. Got 2 skeins of Fiber for the People on her mohair base in her colorway “Sable.” Gorgeous, but probably really impractical for summer makes.
And that’s it…That’s all the everything for this episode – see you in episode 55…mayyybeeee in my new office?!
