Podcast Episode 52: Show Notes!

All the everything from the Fiber & Fox Podcast Episode 52:
Renovations are underway! Sort of a wild temporary set up, bare with me a few more weeks and we will get things more polished up for you!
Finally, finally getting somewhere on my upcoming addition to my dandelion stitch collection! I am working in some one of a kind “lucky strike” colorways by Fiber for the People yarn and loving every stitch! Wanna brush up on dandelion stitch? I have a tutorial!
A finished pair of basic vanilla socks in some super fun yarn my daughter and I dyed ourselves with food dye! For more on that process (if you wanna try it!) see episode 51 for all the details.
And now…the whole granny square top situation. Send help and good ideas!! Made with Hobby Lobby Yarn Bee Pima Suprema in “Lace” and Fresh Haven in “Mustard” and “Red Clay.” No particular pattern for construction, just a 12 square top, but I did use the free Crochet Sunburst Granny Square pattern from Sarah Maker as the basis of my squares.
Making my son one of my Be Brave Baby Blanket patterns, cause we used the one I designed for my daughter SO MUCH. Again Yarn Bee, but in Bamboo-tiful in the colors Cognac, Mist, Basil, & Mustard. Definitely recommend for a lightweight, bag stuffable blanket pattern!
My daughter wanted to learn to knit something for her coming baby brother, so we are attempting a blanket! Using Yarn Bee Breathe Deep in the color “Spa.”
In my hob lob haul I also got a bunch of the Bamboo-tiful in that same brown “Cognac” for an upcoming ruana-type design.
And I also got a chance to stop in at Green Mountain Spinnery again on a quick VT trip (watch a full tour of their amazing mill and process here!!!) – $2.73 for a BUNCH of wooly goodness! Highly recommend if you ever find yourself in the Putney, VT area!
And that’s it…That’s all the everything for this episode – see you in episode 53…mayyybeeee in my new office?!
