ADMIN:

I AM IN THE NEW OFFICE!!!! And it’s amazing. Full tour and organization video coming soon! Thank you for the patience and making it happen for Fiber & Fox financially!

Wanted to mention the 1-91 Shop Hop again. It will be taking place across 1-91 August 8-20th and there are 9 different yarn shops participating between Connecticut, Massachusetts and Vermont. If you’re local, mark your calendars, and even if you’re not, come along to all the shops with me! Last year I visited each shop, gave a tour and did an interview with the owners- check those videos out here!

Finally, finally getting somewhere on my upcoming addition to my dandelion stitch collection! The Dandelion Disperse Shawl is being tech edited and should be out by the end of July/start of August! I worked it up in 3 “lucky strike” colorways by Fiber for the People yarn and couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome! Wanna brush up on dandelion stitch? I have a tutorial to get you ready for the upcoming pattern release!

WIPs:

I also started the Sprocket Socks by Pip and Pin, made in Laine and Lotus minis. I made some intentional (and some unintentional) modifications, and am really loving how the colors I chose perfectly captured our vacation memories as well. I followed a tutorial by Earthtone’s Girl for the Shadow Wrap heel. You can still join in with the Pip & Pin #sixweeksofsockskal #sixweeksofsocks2022 knit along if you’d like!

Another summer project I am working on is the Cumulus/Kumulus Tee by Petit Knit. Super simple, staple, basic v-neck tee construction. I am using up some stash yarn (Lana Grossa Linea Pura Collino – which I think is discontinued?) I got on last year’s shop hop trip to Village Wool. Loving how this is coming together, but kinda playing some yarn chicken…will I make it?

I also brought along the pattern and yarn for the Friday Sweater Baby by Petit Knit, but then didn’t knit on it at all since the same needle size as the Cumulus Sweater was used in this pattern too. Still hoping to get one made soon though! Do you think I can get it all done before the baby is born?

And that’s it…That’s all the everything for this episode – see you in episode 57 (or maybe in a vlog or too before then!?).
