DESIGNS:

I am just about ready to do a tester call ( over on Instagram!) for my latest in the Dandelion stitch family (you can find the stitch tutorial here, and the Dandelion Dance Shawl as well as the Dandelion Dance Baby Blanket in my shops!): The Dandelion Drops Wall Hanging! I will be joining the pattern family this spring, but just over to instagram if you’re interested in testing! I designed it as a way to display my daughters many, many bows (*our favorites are from Turbans For Tots), but it would be super cute to display buttons and pins, or just as a stand alone piece of wall art!

It’s not looking like much yet, but I just wanted to share the pretty yarns that will be used in my next shawl design! Main color is “Ghost Ship” from Treasure Goddess Yarn (left over from the Anouk Pullover collab), and most of the minis are from Laine and Lotus, with the exception of the red which I snagged from A Chick That Knitz.

FINISHED OBJECTS:

I hestistate to call this one a finished object cause I am not 100% sure I am committed to keeping it as is. LOTS on that in the video. Basically I managed to finished the whole thing with the yarn I had, but now I am not sure I love the fit. Definitely give me your opinion in the video comments!

The yarns used are all fingering weight (held double): Laine and Lotus “Meteor Shower”, “In My Hay Day”, “Pumpkin Spice,” Set Ablaze” & “Four and Twenty” were a kit by WIP Yarns, and “Bordeaux” by Silver Key Stitches. I am in love with all the colors- now someone just sell me on the fit before I frog something!

WIPS:

Okay, so I didn’t take a new picture yet, but in the video you can see I made a bunch of progress my Bonfire Socks by Potter and Bloom. I am using Paton’s Kroy FX in “Clover Colors” as my main color and Paton’s Kroy in “Flax” for my toes/heels/cuffs. I love the way the textures is melding with the colors!

AQUIRINGS:

Let’s talk about this amazing sweatshirt! It’s from Kelsie of Crafting for Weeks. I snagged it from her Etsy shop a few weeks back- it looks like it’s sold out now, but maybe if you ask nicely she will restock. While you’re at it, grab a fabulous pattern and check out her blog Crafting for Weeks and the Pineapple and Pine Maker Community.

That’s all, folks! See you in episode 27!
